From 356 parties registered in Ukraine only 272 submitted reports to the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (Financial reports to the National Agency on Corruption Prevention must be submitted from all parties in Ukraine, regardless of whether they receive state funding). At the same time, 197 political forces filed blank reports without indicating any expenditures for the period of three months. 35 political forces declared symbolic expenses in three months - from 150 UAH up to 50 UAH. 22 UAH parties spent from 51 to 499 thousand UAH; 6 parties - from 500 to 999 thousand UAH.

11 parties spent more than a million UAH. Among them six parliamentary parties that receive funds from the state budget, as well as such parties as “Osnova” - 3.7 million UAH, “the Agrarian Party of Ukraine” - 2.1 million UAH, “UKROP” - 2 million UAH, "Revival" - 1 , 7 million UAH, “Ukrainian Galician party” - 1 million UAH.

In October 2017, the CVU urged the National Agency on Corruption Prevention to verify the activities of 21 political parties with signs of shadow fundings.
