CVU assessed the activity of the MPs who are potential candidates for the post of President of Ukraine. These are politicians who have already stated their participation in the elections or whose participation is expected as suppose experts. In total, the work of 14 deputies was assessed. Among them, Yulia Tymoshenko, Oleg Lyashko, Yuriy Boyko, Olexander Vilkul, Mykhailo Dobkin, Vadym Novinsky, Vadim Rabinovich, Evgenii Muraev, Sergei Kaplin, Vitaliy Kupriy, Viktor Chumak, Andriy Biletskyi, Serhiy Taruta, Oleksandr Shevchenko. Комітет виборців України закликає політичні партії та потенційних кандидатів у Президенти відмовитися від розміщення рекламних матеріалів до офіційного старту виборчої кампанії. За оцінкою КВУ впродовж останніх місяців 15 політичних партій та потенційних кандидатів у Президенти проводили масовані рекламні кампанії, що мають ознаки політичної реклами. Загалом всі українські партії впродовж квітня-червня витратили на рекламу 60 млн. грн. Із парламентських партій найбільше витратила «Батьківщина» (24,8 млн.), із позапарламентських –  «Основа» (8,8 млн.). У порівнянні із І кварталом загальні витрати партій в ІІ кварталі 2018 року збільшилися маже вдвічі (100,1 млн. проти 177,1 млн.). При цьому офіційний старт виборчої кампанії із виборів Президента відбудеться лише за дев'яносто днів до дня голосування – на початку січня 2019 року.

Про це свідчать дані зі звітів політичних партій про майно, доходи, витрати і зобов'язання фінансового характеру за ІІ квартал. Упродовж квітня-червня РПЛ загалом витратила 13,4 млн. грн. The Committee of Voters of Ukraine calls on the Central Election Commission to immediately unblock the elections in the amalgamated territorial communities. The elections were blocked after August 9, when the CEC adopted Resolution No. 122 "On Applying to the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy and Justice," in which it refused to appoint an election in the amalgamated communities until receiving of clarification of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Issues policy and justice regarding the designation of such elections.
