This is evidenced by the data of the party's financial reports for the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2018. In April-June, the party spent 24.8 million on propaganda activities, 73 million in July-September. In the summer, active advertising of the "New Course" began, so it is logical to assume that an absolute majority of the money was spent on these needs. Such expenses became record for the party and are related to the elections approaching. 79% of Ukrainian parties do not have any officially employed person (data according to the party reports on property, income, expenses and financial liabilities for the 2nd quarter of 2018). 216 political parties did not mention any employee. Only 20% of the 353 officially registered parties in Ukraine can be considered as a real political force. Such conclusions can be made based on the analysis of party reports on property, income, expenses and financial obligations. Thus, 79 out of 353 parties, did not submit financial statements for the 2nd quarter of 2018, despite the requirements of the law. Another 197 parties filed blank documents without specifying any costs over the period April-June 2018. Similar tendencies were observed in previous periods. An international conference: "Money in politics: how political parties are preparing for elections." was held on October 8, 2018, in Kyiv. The event was organized by Committee of voters of Ukraine in cooperation and with the support of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Office in Ukraine.
